Adobe has added a new White Balance tool for the desktop version of Photoshop. The white balance tool lets you adjust the white balance in a picture without changing anything else. The new Layer tool is another example of how Photoshop makes editing and creating new images easy. You can use the new Layer tool to take a picture and add or adjust any number of “new” Layers to manipulate without compromising or altering the image’s background.

Photoshop’s Content-Aware Fill in CS6 now includes the ability to soften or brighten images that it has adjusted (i.e., mathematically). You can access these options from the Adjustments panel. Content-Aware Fill was previously available only as a filter.
