This is my review of Lightroom 5. This review is of Lightroom 5.1. The Lightroom app provides numerous editing functions for photographers, such as color and exposure correction, image resizing,white balance adjustment, image retouching, cleaning up the image credits and copyright information, and printing image.

I’m glad to say that Adobe has entered a new era of product development in the wake of losing its dominant spot in the market to photo apps from Apple and Google. Its extensive tools are still unparalleled among the apps, which may be attributed to the fact that it was formed in the 1990’s. It has taken 10 years for Intel to catch up with the functionality, speed, and market position.This update is a step forward for Adobe, with some dedicated and well-crafted improvements to its most popular app. With Lightroom 5, you can edit your photos almost as much as with your favorite professional Photoshop. However, as the app is somewhat simpler than PS, you’ll need to stick to one. There’s no need to master one app in order to master the other’s.

Unfortunately, Pixelmator, the cutest photo editing app in recent history, is being retired by the developer, Aevo today.The development-support Aevo will no longer continue development on Pixelmator, and the downloads of Pixelmator will be disabled from today. We would like to announce this to all Pixelmator users at this stage, so we will try our best to continue Pixelmator as long as possible for users.
